What membership is

Membership and editorial independence

Membership is optional. It supports the journal’s open-access publishing and lets a researcher, department or institution plan publication costs across a term rather than article by article.

Membership supports open-access publishing; its terms apply to the article processing charge after acceptance.

Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal. The journal applies these criteria independently of membership, fees, services and editorial or reviewer roles.

Terms

Membership categories

Each category runs for a fixed term. The figures below are the current published terms; the editorial office confirms eligibility and pricing before enrollment.
Individual membership
For clinicians and researchers publishing regularly in child and adolescent mental health. Submissions during the term may be made as author or co-author, excluding special issues.
1 year — USD 10,800, member price USD 6,480
2 years — USD 12,600, member price USD 7,560
Student membership
For graduate and postgraduate trainees, including thesis and residency research. A recommendation letter from a faculty advisor or residency director confirms trainee status.
1 year — USD 7,400, member price USD 4,440
2 years — USD 8,400, member price USD 5,040
Institutional membership
For departments, hospitals and research institutes whose authors publish across several teams, with centralized documentation for a finance office.
1 year — USD 9,500, covering the article processing charge for up to 20 manuscripts
2 years — USD 12,500, covering up to 30 manuscripts
Corporate membership
For organizations whose staff publish in the journal.
1 year — 10 articles a year, USD 11,200, member price USD 6,720
2 years — 15 articles a year, USD 13,000, member price USD 7,800

Applying, and how a term works

    The editorial office confirms eligibility and pricing before enrollment begins.
  • Within the term
    Benefits are used inside the active term and do not roll over into the next one.
  • Renewal
    A 10% renewal discount applies where a term is renewed before it ends.
  • Ethics and review
    Every member submission meets the same ethics requirements and the same review standard as any other manuscript.
