Bone Imaging
Bone imaging is a form of medical imaging used to capture detailed images of bone structures in the body. It is significant for the diagnosis and treatment of bone-related conditions such as fractures, osteoporosis, joint problems, and bone cancer. Bone imaging can be carried out via X-ray, computed tomography (CT) scans, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). X-rays produce two-dimensional images of bones, while CT and MRI scans allow visualization of the three-dimensional anatomy of bones and provide a better understanding of the underlying tissue.
