Proton Pump Inhibitors (ppis)

Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) are a type of medication used to reduce stomach acid production. They are used to treat a variety of conditions, including gastritis, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), and peptic ulcers. PPIs are one of the most effective acid-reducing treatments and are generally considered safe and well-tolerated by patients. They can help to relieve symptoms of acid reflux, abdominal pain, and uncomfortable heartburn. They can also reduce the risk of complications from gastric acid-related conditions and reduce the need for surgery in some cases.
