Stool Antigen Test
The stool antigen test is a useful diagnostic tool for detecting the presence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in the gastrointestinal tract. This test measures the amount of H. pylori antigen in a stool sample and is used to diagnose infection in people who have symptoms of an ulcer or other gastrointestinal complications. The test can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of H. pylori treatment. This test is highly accurate and is a reliable way of detecting H. pylori, which can lead to improved diagnosis and management of conditions such as gastritis and peptic ulcers.
